SADHO POETRY RECITATIONS

Classics of poetry, brought alive with recitations, music and sound-design.
Innovating with the sound of poetry
Creating treasures of literary and artistic beauty;
Restoring the 'Shabda' to its original meaning - 'the sound'!

THE RECORDING QUALITY
Great poems deserve a great sound.
We aim to capture in audio, the subtle emotive nuances that make poetry rich.

Sadho recordings are being produced by experienced sound-engineers with great care, on cutting-edge digital audio equipment. These include boutique stereo-matched microphones and digital gear used in top international studios like 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Imagineering, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Records, Abbey Road Studios, NBC Universal, Dreamworks, DHP-London, MSR Studios New York, and Toshiba EMI.

THE PROJECT

Perhaps the most ambitious of all Sadho activities, the 'Sadho Poetry Recitations Project' aims at producing over a dozen poetry albums on leading poets.

'A work in progress', are the following series -

(a) Poets reciting poetry - New recordings of some of our most prominent poets.

(b) Archival recordings, digitally mastered - write to us if you have the recordings of a prominent poet.

(c) Poetry with music & sound-design - Write to us if you would like to contribute with your music.

(d) Poetic Voices - Workshops, performances and albums comprising poetry recited by voice artists and actors, with or without music
