Sadho, which literally means ‘O Sage’, is a voluntary organization
that aims at taking great ‘poetry to people’ through the innovative use of art, media and social action...

Screenings at New Delhi, Nagpur, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Indore & Jaipur.

Sadho had the privilege of introducing sign-language poetry films to India.
While there are many films which are written in spoken word and later expressed through mudra or sign language, the films showcased by Sadho have been created by deaf poets in sign-language first and later translated into the textual languages.

Dutch filmmakers Leendert Pot & Anja Hiddinga visited India on the invitation of Sadho. A screening of films based on sign-language poetry was organised in New Delhi, attended in large numbers by members of the hearing-impaired community.

Later, Sadho took the films and related educational interviews to other Indian cities, including an exclusive screening at Nagpur.
