Sadho is a movement for the promotion and appreciation of the finest poetry through the innovative use of arts, media, technology and social action.
The Word & the Spirit
Sadho, which literally means ‘O sage’, is the familiar addressee in the poetry of the great Indian saint poet Kabir. He spoke of the worldly & the divine to one and all, but knew that only those with a sage-like sensitivity & wisdom would understand. So Kabir often addressed his poetry to the ‘Sadho’ around him…
For us, ‘Sadho’ is a call to all those with poetic hearts!

The Organization & the Core Team
Sadho is a not-for-profit voluntary organization, whose trustees and all the core team members are unpaid volunteers.
The core team at Sadho is a fluid group of people, who specialize in various fields. It includes writers, musicians, filmmakers, animators, cinematographers, sound engineers, media-persons, and people from fields like finance and management. Sadho therefore, benefits immensely from their diverse backgrounds and collective endeavours.

Sadho Poetry Film Fest: The first of its kind in this part of the world. A biennial showcase of the finest poetry and poetic films form around the world.
Sadho Poetry Films Project: A collaborative effort between the Sadho core team and filmmakers, that aims producing poetry-films.
Sadho Poetry Wallpapers: A series of Poetry wallpapers for your desktop.
Sadho Kids: One of Sadho’s activities with Kids has been launched as the Kids’ Corner – an area where children can post their poems and pictures. More activities with and for kids will be initiated soon.
